This policy describes how GEOREAL spol. s r.o. processes the personal data of website visitors, clients submitting enquiries and job applicants.
1. Data controller
The data controller is GEOREAL spol. s r.o., Company ID 40527514, VAT ID CZ40527514, registered office at Hálkova 12, 301 00 Plzeň, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Plzeň, Section C, Insert 1442.

2. What data we process and why
Enquiries – through the forms on the website we process your name, e-mail, phone number, message content, the project location and any attachments you add. The purpose is to handle the enquiry and the related communication. The legal basis is steps taken prior to entering into a contract and the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Job applications – through the career form we process your name, e-mail, phone number, CV, cover letter and any note you add. The purpose is the recruitment procedure for the position you apply for. The legal basis is steps taken prior to entering into an employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you send us your CV by e-mail outside the open positions, we process it for the same reason – so that we can get in touch once a suitable position opens up.
Cookies and analytics – see the Cookies section below. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Form protection – both forms process your IP address and technical browser data in order to filter out automated submissions. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Filling in the forms is voluntary. Without the data listed above, however, we cannot handle your enquiry or include you in a recruitment procedure.
3. Retention period
Data from enquiry forms is kept for 1 year after the enquiry has been handled. If the enquiry leads to a contract, the retention period follows the contract documentation and the statutory periods for accounting and tax records.
Materials submitted by job applicants are kept for the duration of the recruitment procedure and for 6 months afterwards, so that we can reach out when a similar position opens up; after that they are deleted. You can ask for deletion at any time at kariera@georeal.cz.
Cookies are stored for the periods listed in the cookie table below.
4. Recipients and processors
Personal data may be made available to the following processors:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) – operation of the server running the website, the CMS and the database. The data stays within the European Union.
- Cloudflare, Inc. – protection of the forms against automated abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile); the IP address and technical browser data are processed.
- Our IT infrastructure provider – administration of GEOREAL servers and mail systems.
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics and the embedded map preview on the Contact page (see the Cookies section).
Form submissions are delivered to GEOREAL's own mail server operated on the company network; they are not passed to any external e-mail service. We do not pass personal data to any other third parties without a legal basis.
5. Transfers to third countries
Using Google Analytics and the embedded map preview may involve a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA. The map only loads after you click it – nothing is sent to Google before that. Form spam protection is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., based in the USA. The transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time – for cookies through the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. To exercise your rights, write to georeal@georeal.cz.
The processing involves no automated decision-making or profiling.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz.
